Let Your Faith Build Your Strength
Written By: Min. Charles Chapman
May the eyes of your faith, be so enlightened. May the hope of Jesus in you, be heightened. There is great power, when in God we do trust, for he has put his Spirit right into each one of us. May your confidence be filled with God’s might so the hope of your calling may inflame and ignite. For there is no other one, on whom we can rely, only God our strength and power can supply. May the eyes of your faith be flooded with his light. For it is on his power we are called to fight.
Ephesians 1:18-21 reads “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, In what is exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come”.
My brother’s and my sister’s just a little faith goes a long way. I remember my battle in court; first my daughter’s mom had one lawyer and I beat that case. She then came back with two more lawyers and I also won that one as well. Yet again came back with three lawyers and a specialist and I won once more. Finally, she hit me hard by bringing up my past with a total of three lawyers’, a specialist and 4 witnesses. To God be the glory that didn’t work either. Bringing up my past was a low blow, but my faith was in God and I kept telling myself, “With God before me who can be against me…” With God giving me my answers to the judge’s questions, victory was mine! Please always remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. He is with you because he loves, and he cares for you. Coming to a close, I would like to leave you with this; let your faith build up your strength, with God on your side, you can do anything if just believe and have faith.
